I understand that there was a public road that ran south of Rockport that was used for years for those who wanted great fishing. Approximately 2006 or 2007 a man on felony probation who owned some land near the water put a gate on that road preventing access. I filed an injunction forcing him to remove it. That was not necessarily permanent and recently there have been a bunch of "no trespassing" signs. This man has bragged that he will force other landowners to sell to him at his price.

I was told something was once posted here on a similar fishing website.


If anyone knows about this or has been prevented from traveling that road please let me know. I may try to make that "public" again as it was a nice place to go - quiet - with many birds and nice fishing.
