The Magic 12 is a awesome yak.
Speed is great (without great effort) and a nice glide for such a short yak. There is NO hull slap. Although it sits low in the water,it is a dry ride. Scupper plugs must be in and tight.
Stability is great, have paddled in 16+ mph winds and rolling waves without a problem.
Standing is not a problem, in light winds (becomes nose heavy and will spin in a stiff breeze).
Seating is awesome! 6-8 ours of fishing without a back ache.

The only draw back is space. The storage hump behind the seat is in the way. Handy for my wallet and keys. But I have to learn not to take the kitchen sink fishing! Native does make a cooler/fish bag that will fit on the bow.
I would buy another, and recommend them to someone else.
