Saturday March 26th was the 2nd event of the 2011 Florida Flatsfishing Associations "Back Country Inshore Circuit Division" held out of Dockside Grille in Vero Beach. 48 teams registered on friday night to participate in the trout & redfish tournament, and what a beautiful day it was for some fish-on action! $3,100.00 in winnings was paid out in the FLFA/Back Country D.S.T. Inshore Tournament to the winners, which are as follows- 1st place Redfish - Joe Shaw & Garrett Adams of Vero Beach 2nd place Redfish - Tony Vercillo & TJ Kiefer of Fort Pierce 3rd place Redfish - Ryan Tucker of Vero Beach & Scott Funnell of Sebastian
2nd place Trout - Mark Dravo & Rick Browning of Fort Pierce 3rd place Trout - Rob Bunker of Vero Beach & Darren Brown of Sebastian 12.71 lb total (1 trout @ 7.36 lb & 1 redfish @ 5.35 lb) $500.00
1st place Jack Crevalle - Kendrick Forlifer of Okeechobee - 3.05 lb 2nd place Jack Crevalle - Scotty Lockhart of Palm Bay - 2.58 lb 3rd place Jack Crevalle - Colin Willis of Sebastian - 0.98 lb
2nd place Ladyfish - Colin Willis of Sebastian - 1.66 lb 3rd place Ladyfish - Kendrick Forlifer of Okeechobee - 1.53 lb The next event of the FLFA is "The Back Country's Artificial Only #2 Inshore Tournament" with registration on April 15th @ the Back Country in Vero Beach and the tournament held on Saturday April 16th out of Dockside Grille in Vero Beach.
