My name is Michael aka FishingSarasota.

The name is pretty self-explanitory, I've been fishing the bay and local fresh waters since I was the age of three. My first large mouth came out of what is essentially a drainage ditch that empties into Bowlees creek. I caught it before I had started school. Some of my favorite memerories are fishing Hart's Landing with my grandpa and like my picture shows, catching cobia off the back of manta rays during their yearly migration along the east coast of Florida.. The reason I joined the forums is beacuase I got a fishing kayak as a bithday present and I wanted to join a group of like-minded individuals to see what all was out there in the world of kayak angling.
