Avid angler for 35+ years, avid flyfisher for 20+ years, avid kayak angler since 2009 and going strong! Kayak angling is still quite new in my neck of the woods, and so I hold bragging rights as the first to host a kayak fishing tournament in New Brunswick. Fishing has always been a household word in these parts, and kayaking has been growing exponentially in the last ten years or so, so a few others and myself have decided to do like you guys and marry the two together. I have no doubt that in the very near future kayak angling will equal or even surpass other forms of fishing here in the Maritimes.
