About Me
I am as new as they come to kayak fishing. In March 2011, I purchases a used Heritage Redfish 12 that had only been used 3 time. I have since added flush mounted pole holders and a removable fish finder platform with and over-the-side transducer. Here is a YouTube video of my fish finder MOD:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eatk8SGZxz8&feature=channel_video_title I intend to get out on the Upper Chesapeake Bay as much as possible since I live a half mile from the Elk River at the very top of the bay.
I have fished off and on over the years, mainly for smallmouth in wester Pennsylvania where I grew up. Just realized the Susquehanna Flat and other upper Chesapeake tributaries are prime locations for tidal largemouth bass which will be my primary target this year.
