Grew up in silver spring and then moved to bueatiful Chesapeake Beach,MD with house overlooking the bay. Good place to start kayak fishing becuase area offers variety of inshore and "offshore" fishing areas. Got into KF'ing 2 years ago. Started with little Mainstream Beat 9, then got the bueatiful Malibu Por-Explorer and still have it. Have the Stand N Fish on it as well as a Echo 150 sounder, Garmin GPS, I-Com VHF and Crate W/ rod holders, etc... Fish mostly for Rockfish, Perch, Cat's, and anything else that bites. Run little "Charter" out here if u want to hook up for Spring or Fall Tropys.
