About Me
| Hello fellow kayak fishermen, trippers, and adventurers. I am a silver-haired husband, father, grandfather, fisherman, and according to my wife, devoted follower of a "Walter Mitty-like lifestyle." Retired to southern, coastal North Carolina and only recently introduced to kayaks and kayak fishing, my goal is to move from fishing the ICW to off-shore waters while maintaining my dignity and ability to remain, or at least, re-board my craft. My still working fishing buddy and I have fished local saltwater fishing tournaments with embarrassingly little success, but undaunted, we are looking to fish even more tournaments in 2016. New to kayak fishing, let alone saltwater fishing, I welcome recommendations and new fishing companions. Tighlines..... Rand |
