My passion for fishing started over 40 years ago while growing up in the Midwest fishing fresh waters of Canada, Michigan and Wisconsin for walleye, northern pike, muskey, and bass in a canoe. After moving to Melbourne Beach Florida and as my knowledge of the personalities and habitats of the different salt water species grew, I decided to buy a kayak to get up close and personal. I began sharing my expertise and abilities with others. That’s when Reel Kayak Fishing Charters started. I began guiding full time from the Mosquito Lagoon down to Ft. Pierce. My favorite species to target are Snook, Redfish, “Gator” sized Speckled Sea Trout and Flounder using light spinning tackle with artificial baits. “My passion for fishing and teaching others brings me joy and pleasure. There is nothing more thrilling than watching someone sight cast to a tailing redfish, hooking up and being taken on a “sleigh ride”.
