New to Kayak Fishing

In fact I am so new that I have not even purchased a kayak. After Christmas and a hunting trip with my friend to his camp during my vactaion I decided I need to get outdoors more. I live about a mile south of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and decided to save a few bucks and invest in a kayak and fish the delta. I am not a rich man, or I would get the bass boat, so this will take some time to save and not break my family. I will use this time for research and plan to be on the water by March.
