Highly recommend

This is my first Kayak. After much research, I have not been disappointed at all. Living 3 blocks from the Ocean, that has been my primary fishing location and I found it to be very easy to handle in the surf. I also chose this kayak due to it being lighter, as I am 5'6" female and over 50 and I can still load it on the X-terra. (hullavator is in the future) A more comfortable seat would be my only suggestion, but there is always gel Pads... I have recommended it to others and they also have been very happy with the purchase. All the accessories were mounted very easily. Overall very pleased.

Woman Owner

I Love this boat! For a woman, ease of laoding and unloading from the car is a dream! The pricetag is not for the faint but I think it is worth every penney! I fish out of my boat, the only downside for a 5'4 woman it is hard to reach once the boat is set up for fishing!

Ultimate 12 review

The Native Ultimate 12 is my 1st kayak. I am very pleased with the performance of this boat. I have only had it out on Lake Conroe so far. For lake fishing it is perfect. I am about 5'10", 210 lbs and the 12' has more than enough room. It is very stable and it has OK speed. The seat is VERY comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Magic 12 Awesome

The Magic 12 is a awesome yak. Speed is great (without great effort) and a nice glide for such a short yak. There is NO hull slap. Although it sits low in the water,it is a dry ride. Scupper plugs must be in and tight. Stability is great, have paddled in 16+ mph winds and rolling waves without a problem. Standing is not a problem, in light winds (becomes nose heavy and will spin in a stiff breeze).
Seating is awesome! 6-8 ours of fishing without a back ache. The only draw back is space. The storage hump behind the seat is in the way. Handy for my wallet and keys. But I have to learn not to take the kitchen sink fishing! Native does make a cooler/fish bag that will fit on the bow. I would buy another, and recommend them to someone else.

Ultimate 14.5 solo

Drifts sideways, but slows the drift. I fish most of the time standing up, I enjoy the "hunt". I like the open cockpit design, easy access to equipement and easy to rig. Needs a rudder more than most kayaks, stop paddling and it goes left or right. The seat is the most comfortable on the market period. The ability to stand and stretch lets me fish all day. 2 hours was my max in more conventional kayaks. Just comes with age.

Best 1st experience kayaking I could have imagined,

I had never previously kayaked before but wanted something small and light to be able to broaden my fishing horizons and chose the 14.5 coming across a closeout sale. Even on a windy day, I wouldnt hesitate on taking it on the small lakes and local river with how stable it is. Rigging options can reach as far as your willing to let your imagination take you. I thought it was a crazy idea to stand in a kayak so I had to try it myself and its really no different than standing in a small boat. It is unbelievably comfortable having the feeling of relaxing in a lawn chair the whole time while fishing. The option of having it mounted in the track or up on the gunnels with the optional seat riser makes fishing even more comfortable. I spent several weeks researching kayaks before making a purchase and I have no regrets with getting the Ultimate 14.5. Stable, very spacious and it cruises right along, even upstream in decent current on a river.

Great Fishing Boat,

Fishing mostly freshwater lakes, I like this boat for its great stability, good ergonomic seating, good tracking and overall handling. I have not had it out in any rough stuff in the ocean, and have no plans to use it in the ocean, but have encountered some heavy winds and white caps on bigger freshwater lakes and it was not a problem. Heavy winds will require some corrective paddle strokes, but anything less and the boat is really really good. It's not a speed demon. Plenty of room for add ons and they are all easily accessible. As a big paddler (6'4" 225lbs) this boat is ideal for all of my fishing needs and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good value, stability, and good all around use. It is a little cumbersome to load on the roof of my SUV by myself, so I purchase a set of Thule set/glide with rear roller and now it's alot easier. I do recommend you get a dolly or cart to lug it to the water, it becomes heavy real fast once you start loading fishing gear on

Great kayak but,

I love this kayak and bought for fishing florida back country but I realized that it was not the kayak to fish the ocean and rougher waters. It outfits great and is super comfortable

Malibu Stealth

I just bought the new Malibu stealth 14 yak which I researched and water tested about 3 different yaks and the Stealth was far better for fishing in the 10,000 islands in Southwest Fla .The yak is actually 14,4" inches long and 33 inches wide has a casting area with a livewell or dry storage area,I plumbed it with a the livewell kit that Malibu recommends which they sell for $ 109.00 dollars and I picked up the same kit at Wal Mart for $30.00 dollars live works great.I can stand up on the casting platform and turn in any direction to fish,on either side of the livewell are storage areas along with one at a 45 degree angle near the stern and on the front is there gator hatch with a child seat molded into it and at the front is a very large storage area .My fishing rods can be stored with no hassles at all inside the yak.Bought a apex highback seat along with a fiberglass paddle, yak tracks real well with gear and two young kids along this past week.I just installed Malibus X-Wing console on it for my fish finder and it has a battery storage inside the console along with switches for livewell pump amd bow and stern lights for night trips. It will also be used for ocean fishing the wrecks a few miles out from shore during the summer. If you have the money the hole package including the rigging I did was about $1700.oo dollars.Life is good when you are on the water
