Great beginner yak
Redfish...good beginner yak. Very stable. Good maneuverability and handles rough water well. It is also easy to outfit. Overall, I like my Redfish 12, I'm just not in love.
IMO, it is a slow boat. Heritage could do much to improve on the design by narrowing the bow a little bit to allow it to slice through the water instead of plowing. This may also be the reason for the very noticeable wind cocking in winds over, I'd say, 8 knots.
I'd like to see a remodel a little narrower on the beam...maybe 28 inches instead of 30...this would improve tracking and decrease weight (right now too heavy for it's size), but not hurt stability too much.
Until they decide to remodel this yak, a rudder kit is highly recommended if fishing in wind and/or current.

Big man kayak with spped
Really good compromise between stability and paddling efficiency (speed). Works well for me - 6'4" and 260lbs. A little heavy for carrying distances, but that's pretty common for 14ft boats. Surprisingly good tracking and efficiency through the water. The newer Heritage mesh seats are way more comfortable than they look. Good flat areas for mounting accessories. Tank well is generous, but won't hold a long crate.

Hunting Reds
I fish a lot of flats in TX. for reds. Kayak is bit heavy for loading as I have the old model that is 10 pounds heavier.
Moken 12 Kayak,
I was quite pleased with the Moken 12.There are plenty of spaces for storing gear above and below the deck. The front end(Bow) of the kayak rode quite high out of the water, I didn't have any problems with water crashing over it.The kayak is very stable nice and wide. The built in keel wheel is a big plus so you do not need to buy an expensive set of wheels. To load the kayak on my current vehicle, it's quite easy because it is not as heavy as most kayaks out there. The kayak comes equipt with 4 rod holders(2 foreward and 2 behind the seat)plenty of storage behind the seat(Stern),bungee keepers to hold your gear.
Front locking storage locker, comes pre drilled for attaching fishfinders gps units or any other electrical gadgets. The seating system was quite comfortable. A convienent hatch foreward of the seat and a small storage area for keeping other items close by.I highly recommend this kayak to anyone wanting to get out there and catch some fish!

Great kayak
I have had the boat for a month and I love it
it is truly one of the first SOT's that perform like a SIT
it is fast in the water and really takes a wave over the front nicely, it also keeps you up and above the swell
I am wondering what the rest of you guys think about the boat?
hatch between your legs keeps lots of stuff and there is tons of room on the rear deck for crate and even a cooler

FnD
The Cobra FnD is very stable, which is partly the reason I purchased it. It handles going in and out of the breakers very well! I have even stood up in it in the bay. It is a very good kayak, but difficult to carry. If you are fishing solo, a trailer would priceless.

Cobra Fish N' Dive
This kayak is a pig but that's what I wanted. Very stable and excellent to learn with. I have had the kayak for a year with no intent of upgrading and fish it often.
If you are searching for kayak with lots of storage or a boat that will boost your confidence,(as long as you aren't racing), then this is a great kayak.

cobra navigator xf, September 30, 2009
I am really satisfied with my navigator. Considered other models such as WS tarpon and the Native Watercraft. Demo of Tarpon was great but for the price (on a budget) the Tarpon is not that far superior. The navigator handles 2-3 bay chop well but seating area has no drain but not that big a problem also there were no side-handles but was easy to fix for small price. Milk crate does not fit in tank-well but a 5 gallon bucket works well with plenty of room for dry-bag behind it. The front hatch holds more than I need, and the round hatch that sits between legs is great, has round plastic tackle box that sits in another round bucket which when lifted out gives access to interior. Both hatches have cam locks with no problems with staying water-tight. The navigator is light (44lbs) and easy to handle tracks great and has a load capacity of 475lbs. I fish coastal bay and rivers and in my eyes it is a great all around boat that fits my needs well. I think for the money, a hard craft to beat
