The Max is part of Body Gloves 3TBarefoot series of water shoes. To call it a water shoe is doing it a disservice, its not your typical "water shoe".One of the greatest asset as a fisherman on a kayak is the ability to fish in the standing position, thankfully boat manufacturers are annually designing kayaks that are super stable. The kayak no matter how stable it is can only do so much, no matter what it is up to the fisherman through practice and comfortable gear to be able to balance well enough for long casts and fighting fish. The Max Offers superior comfort, bare-foot like balance, and protection. It drains water very quickly and efficiently through a series of drains on the bottom of the shoe, the drains have a stainless steal mesh that adds increased protection for your feet. The three toe design makes it effortlessly to put them on and take off, but that is second to the enhanced sense of balance with maximum movement that makes this shoe stand alone. The Max is a must have for any kayak angler and really sets the bar high for "water shoes".
