"Slot Redfish" do not get much bigger than this 27.5 incher

And the winner is. Team Emotion's John Lee

Congratulations to John Lee of the Emotion Kayak Fishing Team for his victory December 15th in the Paddle-Fishing.com "My lure is better than yours tournament". Unlike typical tournaments where you are able to bring a boat load of spoons, flies, top water and soft plastic lures in your boat, in this tournament the angler is limited to just three top water lures, 3 spoons and 3 jig heads. The lure of choice for the day was the D.O.A. New Penny 4 inch jerk bait with a Mustad Power Lock Plus Hook 3/0 1/16 oz.

High winds, 59 skilled anglers, and limited lure choices did not slow John's fishing.  His Slam (total length measurement of 3 species, Trout, Snook, and Redfish) measured 66.5 inches and narrowly beat out the second place finisher Apollo Beach Sam by two inches.

The staff at Emotion Kayaks wishes to congratulate John on his efforts.  .
