(Ketchum, ID) - With almost 50 years of industry leading innovation in optics across both Sun and Snow, Smith Optics is excited to announce yet another groundbreaking achievment and proprietary lens technology: ChromaPopTM . ChromaPop is the world's most scientifically advanced polarized lens, with new film-free polarization technology, engineered to optimize color and increase visual clarity. ChromaPop eliminates color confusion for the brain, ultimately recognizing true color, faster, regardless of lens tint. When light passes through a traditional lens, there are two points where light waves intersect and the brain has to work to decipher whether its seeing red, green or blue. With ChromaPop lens technology, the color intersections are blocked so the brain immediately recognizes true vibrant color as it should be seen with increased depth and detail of objects, while reducing eye fatigue. ChromaPop lenses will be available in four proprietary tints: ChromaPop Polarchromic Ignitor, ChromaPop Polar Brown, ChromaPop Polar Gray Green and ChromaPop Polar Platinum. ChromaPop lens technology also offers a proprietary authentic Smith Prescription Sun solution. This RX solution offers identical tints to Smith plano lenses in addition to the same technical efficacy for light management and visual acuity. The high level of clarity of ChromaPop lenses guarantees a better field of vision, even in higher-index, 8 base wrap styles. Identical look, feel and performance....all in your prescription sunglass lenses. FEATURES:
ChromaPop will be available in 6 new styles, as well as in 15 best selling frames. MSRP: $209-269 VIDEO: https://vimeo.com/70516574 |
