Malibu Kayaks Announces the X-Caliber E-mail
Monday, 13 January 2014 10:23

X-Caliber poster Fishing Kayaks manufacturer Malibu Kayaks is pleased to announce the revolutionary new X-Caliber kayak! After designing the world renowned pro-angling kayaks, the creative team at Malibu Kayaks decided to provide a kayak to meet the requests from families across the world for a stable, dry and comfortable kayak that was still easy to manipulate. Years of research and extensive testing created a new hull design never before seen in the kayak industry. Using boats like the barge, raft, and punt as inspiration, they developed a hull that is nearly perfectly flat, with track-lines to allow for ease of use in the water. The flatter surface allows for added stability with a decrease in width, while said width size provides for the same speed and ease of use paddlers are accustomed to at most 31" kayaks. At a wall depth greater than all other Malibu Kayaks models, the perfect hybrid kayak has been created! Combining the safety and stability of a sit-on-top kayak with the dryness and comfort of a sit-in, kayakers new and old will be able to enjoy the X-Caliber. The model comes with the ability to be outfitted with a trolling motor mount, X-Wing, 5 gallon bait bucket, Rudder Kit, and also has the coveted Lowrance transducer mount molded in.
