I purchased the Hobie Sport for my wife. She enjoys fishing the flats and this kayak gives her the flexibiity to peddle most of the time. I started using it fishing the gulf. It's a lot easier to transport and can take the surf better than my WS T140. I love using this little kayak. It is limited in space but it allows me to paddle quickly through the surf zone, insert the peddles and I can keep up with most all but the quickest paddlers/peddlers. The center hatch provides plenty of room for a dry bag and for storage of gear (with some modifications to keep the gear from sliding around). The rails allow for storage of baits/lures/pliers/knife, etc without fear of falling unless in the worst of conditions. Tank well has sufficient room for a milk crate and all the storage associated with using one. The only modifications to the kayak itself I would recommend is upgrading the fins and rudder. The only limitation of the kayak is storage of big fish. I can rig a kayak fish bag into the tankwell easily and store plenty of snapper, etc but storing a cobia or kingfish is difficult due to space and weight capacity limitations. You do get a heck of a sleigh ride when you hook into a big fish.
