I bought my OK Drifter 4 years ago used as a way to get into the sport of Kayak Fishing and I have been hooked ever since. My goal was to find a kayak that was a jack-of-all-trades boat and I found a kayak that will always stay in my possession. I fish rivers, lakes and the occassional bay and the Drifter has performed well in tight shallow water to large open windy spaces. Over the years I have added two rod holders, an anchor trolley and a triple tree to hold two additional rod holders and my fish finder along with countless other personal modifications as my brain tries to find different ways to increase my fishing experience.

There are other kayaks that are faster, track better, allow for easier rigging or allow you to stand and fish easier than the Drifter, but if you are looking for a solid all around boat while you gain confidence in the sport then the Drifter is for you.
