Jackson Kayak announces the addition of another kayak fishing leader to their team with the signing of Jeff Herman this past week. Jeff is a very active member of the Texas fishing community, a writer and will be paddling for both the kayak fishing team and exploration team for Jackson.

Jeff Herman brings to Jackson a wealth of paddle sports knowledge as an American Canoe Association (ACA) instructor and a writer of noted reputation across the kayaking industry. Jeff will also be working an important role in Jackson Kayak's new Kayak Education project, set to be launched for the summer of 2013.

"Jeff comes to us with all his enthusiasm for both fishing and teaching people about kayaking," states Jackson's Marketing Director, James McBeath, "With kayak fishing being such a new sport it is rare to find that perfect combination of pure kayaker and pure fisherman. Jeff has both skill sets and has seemingly set his life's ambitions on helping others get there too."

Jeff Herman adds, "I am ecstatic to be part of the Jackson Team! Joining a kayak company with momentum, vision, and passion for all aspects of kayaking will be exciting and rewarding." Jeff continues, "I hope to bring a unique skill set to an already fantastic team with my passion for fishing and paddle instruction. The Cuda kayak is the perfect platform for bay fishing and sight casting reds, and I am stoked to do some kayak touring from the Journey. Let's get some salt on plastic, and some fish on reel!"

Jeff has spent some of his fishing time in front of the camera with appearances on a variety of fishing shows, including those of new Jackson team member, Jim Sammons. "Continuing to work with Jim Sammons and Will Richardson from Heliconia press is icing on the cake! " notes Jeff Herman.
