Here at KFM we get asked to review a lot of products. Many of them don’t make sense. When Glacier Glove asked me to review a couple items the Universal Chest Pack was one of the items that interested me. Here’s the companies description. A truly revolutionary product. Our Universal Chest Pack features hideaway buckles that allow you to attach it to most PFD's or any backpack. Easy to get on and off and plenty of room for storage. Also includes straps to be worn by itself.” I found everything they say about the pack to be dead on. It’s a great all purpose chest pack that I admit I haven’t used on the kayak yet. However I’ve used it a number of times and love it. One of my hobbies is mushroom hunting and I’ve used the pack several times for that. It has room for my gear. I’ve also used it mountain biking and as a fly vest when fishing trout streams. Again I’ve found it very useful. I asked the company about the zippers and they assured me they’ll handle saltwater in stride. It retails for $59.99 and is available at Bass Pro. If you’re looking for a neat gift for someone active this is an item they’ll find a great deal of use for. |
